The Digital Supercluster Capacity Building Program provides co-investment to support projects that equip Canadians with the skills, leadership, and career opportunities required to thrive in digital enterprises.

Funding amounts vary from project to project.

Eligible Applicants

To be eligible for this program, applicants must meet this criteria:

  • There must be a minimum of three partners in a project consortium and at least one needs to be an industry partner and one non-profit organization;
  • Projects must be incremental to regular business undertakings of the participating organizations; and
  • Must articulate how they will address the inclusion of underrepresented groups, with a focus on Indigenous Peoples and women.

Eligible Activities

Projects may be eligible for this program if they:

  • Objective is to partner with employers, educators, learning and development technology companies and community organizations to build job ready, world-class talent and team;

Types of Projects include:

  • Exploratory projects: small, novel concept or idea; and
  • Strategic initiatives: large-scale initiatives with global relevance and high potential for impact.
