Digital Supercluster Technology Leadership Funding

The Digital Supercluster Technology Leadership Funding program offers up to $20 million in co-investment for high-impact digital innovation projects. The goal is to support Canadian businesses in developing new technologies, platforms, and services that can scale through customer adoption and commercial growth.

Eligible Applicants

To qualify for this program, applicants must meet the following conditions:

  • The lead applicant must be from industry and be a recognized Member representing the sector.
  • Each project must involve at least three collaborating partners, including at minimum: one small or medium-sized business (SME), one post-secondary institution, and one organization that acts as an end user or customer.
  • The project should go beyond the regular scope of work typically done by the participating organizations.
  • The project must demonstrate measurable benefits for Canada and provide value beyond a single company or organization.

Projects must align with one or more of the following themes:

  • Keeping Canadians Healthy: Technologies that help individuals manage their health independently or within their communities, and strengthen healthcare system resilience.
  • Addressing Climate Change: Digital solutions aimed at helping communities, businesses, and governments mitigate or adapt to climate change.
  • Driving Economic Productivity: Tools and platforms that accelerate industry digital transformation, improve productivity, and contribute to Canada's broader digital economy objectives.
