NGen’s latest initiative supports manufacturers in pinpointing growth opportunities, building tailored action plans, and putting strategies into motion. The Workforce Transformation program offers leadership teams a cost-effective, high-impact chance to engage in collaborative learning and evaluation workshops, equipping them with valuable insights for strategic planning.

Funding Amount

  • Organizations pay $1,500 for access to the Technology Leadership Program (regular cost: $7,500).
  • Eligible training activities are reimbursed up to 80%, with a maximum of $8,000 for training and $3,000 for related assessments and support.
  • The full support package is valued at $15,500 but costs companies only $2,500 after subsidies.

Eligible Activities

The program is divided into four phases:

  1. Engagement: Leadership teams (up to 12 members) attend sessions on topics like strategy, leadership, Industry 4.0, carbon planning, circular manufacturing, and product innovation.
  2. Planning: Companies benchmark their operations against world-class standards.
  3. Training: Staff members undergo targeted upskilling in partnership with training providers and academic institutions, with focus areas including safety, innovation leadership, digital skills, and more.
  4. Testing: Skills assessments are conducted pre- and post-training to measure results.
