The OCI – Digital Modernization and Adoption Plan (DMAP) program helps small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) assess their technology requirements, make informed digital transformation decisions, and get the most value from their tech investments. Through this program, SMEs partner with a Digital Adoption Consultant to develop a customized plan that addresses their unique digital modernization goals.

Funding Amount

Access up to 50% of eligible costs to a maximum of $15,000 in funding support.

Eligible Applicants

Businesses can apply for the OCI – Digital Modernization and Adoption Plan (DMAP) if they:

Are federally or provincially incorporated with a valid Business Number;
Operate as a for-profit, privately owned company;
Have between 1 and 499 employees (FTEs); and
Maintain a permanent presence in Ontario.

Eligible Activities

To qualify for funding, projects must:

Help develop a tailored Digital Modernization and Adoption Plan aimed at boosting digital adoption, productivity, and business growth; and
Be carried out in partnership with a pre-approved Digital Adoption Consultant (DAC) listed on the DCC roster.
