OCI -- Technology Demonstration Program

The OCI – Technology Demonstration Program (TDP) offers support to SMEs that have completed a Digital Modernization and Adoption Plan (DMAP). It provides funding to help these businesses adopt and integrate the digital tools outlined in their plan. The program aims to drive SME growth while also promoting the adoption of Ontario-developed digital solutions.

Funding Amount

Access up to 50% of eligible costs up to $150,000 per applicant.

Eligible Applicants

To qualify for the OCI – TDP, applicants must:

  • Be federally or provincially incorporated with a valid business number;
  • Operate as a privately owned, for-profit business;
  • Employ between 1 and 499 full-time staff;
  • Maintain a permanent business location in Ontario;
  • Have completed a DMAP project;
  • Have earned a minimum of $500,000 in annual revenue in at least one of the past three tax years.

Eligible Activities

Eligible projects must:

  • Facilitate the adoption and integration of commercialized digital solutions by an SME, aligned with their DMAP;
  • Be structured as a collaboration between an SME and a technology provider, ideally Ontario-based;
  • Deliver meaningful progress in the SME’s digital transformation, using proven technologies, and generate significant business impact.
